Recently red makes me feel energetic lol.

Decided to post this for my birthday . (random much lol)
finished this weeks ago but i always forgot to share it here.

i enjoy painting the hair, as for the petals i stressed quite a bit for painting one by one.. not until i learnt this "time saving" copy and paste technique which makes a total sense for not doing it individually .

as usual my laptop calibration failed on me. so it might look as dull. It's one of my main reasons why i fear to paint striking colours due to having a very old monitor.

Somehow the brushes seem to have a diff consistency than in SAI . Though i'm in awe of the pen brush this software has.

At least this drawing process gives me hope to draw. I have not drawn anything fancy these days, I lack of inspiration :(

i started this piece like and intro for me to look forward to take on the themes later on!

i kinda loosen up myself as i wanna cheer myself on and to think that i'm not tired. At least i have a look at my penguin plush toy to cheer me on!!

i spent a quite a while to get the hair right. but i find it pretty annoying and enjoyable at the same time.

I ha many problems with the colours from my 4 yr old 17" monitor. I guess i shall invest on something better..

my fav character from Harry Potter, not much of a die hard fan of HP so it explains why i kept forgetting their names.

dont mind me ranting here.. i need it

this painting got me at the very edge of giving up. I drew it from scratch, not paying attention to the details but as i go on i felt like doing semi realistic with shadings and stuff to bring out Snape's character. And so the problem comes onward. I kept adjusting the proportion and repaint most parts of it, especially the freaking nose.Should there be mistakes, but i think i am not such perfect for this :)

But i'm well happy with this, thought of doing much better than this but i don't think i want to do such realistic paint at the moment.
